A high profile education institution based in Sydney is looking to engage an experienced PROJECT MANAGER to manage the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a key ICT financial upgrade project. This is a rare and highly sought after initial 4 month contract with the view to extend at a rewarding hourly rate.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Manage a major upgrade project, as part of a wider program of work, including providing advice for process development, organisational change, training and service delivery. Leading and managing team members and third-party contractors or consultants in ICT and project teams;
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables in consultation with business and ICT stakeholders;
- Lead the planning and implementation of project according to ICT's change management and systems implementation processes.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING

- Experience of Peoplesoft Upgrade and systems integration;
- Extensive experience in a project management/leadership role;
- Extensive experience in software and or application development projects (typically more than 5 years);
- Extensive experience with System Change control and Change Request management procedures and;
- Knowledge of Financial Systems (desirable)
