I have a requirement for a Project Manager Payments to work for a leading financial services client in Poole.

Rate: Negotiable
Contract Length: 3 months initially
Location: Poole

For the Project Manager Payments role, prior experience working with payments would be highly preferred.

Project Manager Payments Job purpose:

*To provide Project Management expertise in the development and delivery of a project plan to support the SOLD Application and Business Control Process Review, encompassing the:-
oreview and remediation of control gaps relating to manual payments from initiation through to settlement in line with the current Group Manual Payments and Logical Access Management (LAM) policies
ocompletion of a feasibility study examining the potential for a system driven maker checker process, in line with the current Group Manual Payments Policy.
*Manage and provide guidance in the design, recommendations and delivery of solutions and interventions which improve the control performance and risk management practices
*To facilitate the collaboration of BUs/SMEs/governance and control teams across those areas impacted by the project.
*To conduct senior stakeholder management and cross BU co-operation.
*Maintain and distribute where required the appropriate Project Management Information, reporting and governance to oversee the delivery of key milestones.

Project Manager Payments Accountabilities:

Delivery of the project plan - (contains the following key elements)
*Scope definition
*Review of the manual payment functions/processes
*Review of user access requirements (LAM)
*Remediation of the control gaps
*Application Governance and Control
*Application ownership and organisational structure to govern the application
*Lead a review of manual payments processing within the SOLD application environment across the Group to identify shortfalls in payment controls and remediate where required.
*Develop and maintain a plan to support any remediation activity.
*Identify potential strategic solutions for costing, eg system driven maker checker controls
*Ensure evidence is in place to support control processes and attestations
*Preparation and communication of robust project MI (daily & weekly) to support the above
*Build and maintain relationships with teams and key stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Competencies for the Project Manager Payments role:

*Highly competent Project Manager with Strong knowledge of Change/Project Management Principles and or Prince 2
*Payments and payments process experience from initiation through to settlement
*Knowledge of Operational risk frameworks and control environments
*Experience of working within a governance, control and risk management environment
