One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Project Manager. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCALLY BASED IN NORWAY

CONSULTANT POSITION DESCRIPTION
THE CONSULTANT WILL BE PART OF THE PROJECT OFFICE DEPARTMENT AND WILL REPORT TO HEAD OF IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
THE CONSULTANT WILL BE PRIMARILY RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE TO:
- To project manage and ensure that the project is executed successfully, the consultant will be required to work on a number of projects (small to medium in size)specifically
- To ensure that all the stakeholders are actively involved in the project
- Solid experience in project management and dealing with customers is required
Description of Mandatory Fields
1. Strong background in project management
2. Ability to manage multiple projects with different stakeholders
3. Have experience in a wide variety of IT technical areas as a generalist project manager, without being a technical specialist.
4. Make judgments on, often overrated or underrated, technical and functional issues reported by business and IT SME's and make a correct assessment towards impact on both the related project and the wider surroundings.
5. Get easily acquainted with business requirements and objectives in different business areas.
6. Be able to talk to, and understand, technical specialists and make a bridge to the business and vice versa.
7. Be persistent when it comes to chasing people to deliver on time, get reviews on documents, etc.
8. Be persistent when it comes to challenging project stakeholders on issues and scope changes and their impact.
9. Have experience with working in a large organization with many different IT teams in an international complex and dynamic environment.
10. Have experience with managing an off shore development team
11. Have experience with managing a portfolio of small and larger projects at the same time.
12. Have excellent facilitation skills.
