Project Manager Opportunity

Project Manager Stevenage Manufacturing Circa £45-50,000 plus benefits International Travel Included. (70%UK, 30% Travel) This exciting position comes from a international manufacturer of machinery. W world leader in their area they are a forward thinking company always looking to make improvements and seek a like minded individual to join their project department. This will be a varied and challenging front line position, responsible for managing pre and post sale projects with demanding clients from the fields of aerospace, automotive and defence. Projects will vary in size from £500,000 to £3 million in value and typically you will oversee 4-5 at a time each lasting anything from 6 months to 2 years in duration. With each project you will find yourself involved from conception and contract award right through to delivery and customer acceptance. A interesting time to join this great company has recently made a strategic change from being engineering led to project led for the benefit of their customers and as such the project department continues to be a focus for growth and change. Ideally you will have previous project management experience of a similar scale and be used to working in a global role that requires international travel. A project management qualification i.e. Prince 2, PMP or Equivalent would be beneficial to this application alongside industry experience.
