Operational Excellence Project Manager required for a contract role with our Financial Services Client based in Edinburgh. The contract will run for an initial 6 months with potential to extend further.

The selected candidates will be required to lead and implement good Operations Management practices, coach Service Excellence capability, putting the customer at the heart of what they do, through deployment of Lean Sigma & System Thinking Methodologies within the Operations they are working in.

To be considered for this role applicants should have the following skills/capabilities:
*Proven Project Management experience gained within Financial Services environments
*Lean/Operational Excellence practitioner
*Significant experience of coaching/mentoring team members in the use of new operational processes
*Experience of building operational capability through deployment of Lean Sigma & system thinking methodologies
*Understanding of Good Operational Management Practices
*Ability to understand business problems and design and implement relevant solutions
*Understanding of Project management methodologies and their application
*Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
*Excellent presentation (verbal and paper) skills
*Experience of working with external third party firms and suppliers
*Project planning skills
