Project/Delivery Line Description
Information Management Services Project - Phase II

Roles and Responsibilities:
Normal project management duties including use of Shell's Project Delivery Framework

1. Prior experience setting up a global Information Management service and related team (s) including costing, resourcing, demand planning, marketing, managing the business case, etc.
2. Experience in designing organizations
3. Familiarity with concepts and value provided by Information Management, Knowledge Management, Records Management, and general Information Services
4. Prior experience with resourcing including contracting for service provisioning (+/- 80% offshore, 20% onshore)
5. Knowledge of the Shell business and how our people work is preferred.
6. Excellent project management skills.
7. Good Consultancy and Communications skills.
8. Able to work in an environment where there are multiple stakeholders who may often have differing views/maturity/eagerness to help
9. Show mastery in being able to prioritise from many business requirements from the multiple stakeholders

Information Management Services Project - Phase II

Main purpose of the role will be to run phase II a project to onboard new and existing Information Management (IM) Services into a team of onshore and offshore IM/KM specialists provided by a 3rd party supplier.

The intention of the existing IM Services team is to deliver IM Services via a service provider in a structured, standardized way and identify opportunities to:

Minimize the administrative burden associated with information management for the knowledge worker
Improve the quality & availability of information by solid ever greening processes

Reduce the time taken to search for reusable information

Optimize resource usage

Facilitate behavioral change around tools and practices

The IM Services Project Manager role will be involved in a variety of activities that relate to on boarding of new or existing IM Services, defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring the needed documentation gets created, knowledge transfer sessions take place and the IM Service gets handed over to the provider.

This will be done with input from the PT BI interface, IM Service business analyst, handing over the service to the providers Service Delivery manager, adopting the new or existing service into a new IM Service operating model.
