Sr. Nuclear Project Manager

Currently, we are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to provide project management services for Nuclear IT Project Management and Delivery Team. The nuclear project manager directs the day to day activities of IT projects and develops work break down structure based on defined scope and creates work schedules accordingly. The selected individual creates detailed project charter and establishes and tracks cost estimates and project budgets. The nuclear project manager identifies and manages project issues and risks.

The nuclear project manager works with Support Manager to facilitate effective project transition to support. The nuclear project manager establishes a working project team from a matrixed organization. The nuclear project manager manages all aspects of the project dynamics such as change and conflict. The nuclear project manager tracks and reports status appropriately to various audiences. Works effectively with the business to quickly learn the business, culture, and relationships.

Required: 4 year degree, MS Project, excellent verbal and written communication skills; Project Management Experience with IT and/or Engineering projects, application development background
