PROJECT MANAGER NON TECH RENO, NV 6 TO 9 MONTH CONTRACT

We re looking for a highly professional, process-driven candidate to create and manage our client s Project Charter to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

- Providing project management leadership for the overall process.
- Coordinating interaction between internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Developing strong, close working relationship with business owners and key stakeholders in each area.
- Facilitation of project communication internally and externally.
- Organizing, sending invites and facilitating weekly core team meetings and regular steering committee meetings.
- Updating business owners and stakeholders in both areas on key sign off gates, their role within these gates, and reminding business owners and stakeholders of accountability for upcoming deliverables.
- Reporting status, action owners and meeting minutes ongoing.
- Managing issue resolution, identify risks and mitigation strategy.
- Working with the business to develop and execute communications and contingency plans.
- Monitoring process and develop improvement action plans where required.
- Setting up and managing SharePoint repository of files and documents.
- Utilizing project management tools, like MS Project and/or Visio, to draw up relevant Gantt charts and flow charts to manage events and milestone.
- Publishing monthly newsletter to communicate progress of project.
- Supporting the achievement of the business requirements and objectives through proactive and diligent management of the project milestones to conclusion, including delivering high quality customer experience.
- Complete execution of the Project plan against the defined plan and timelines.
