Project Manager - New Electrical Connections

Project Manager Vacancy - London - Power Client - £50,000+ Are you looking for a new role in the Power Distribution sector in London? Then I am looking for YOU! One of Huxley Associates' clients is looking for 2 Project Managers for their New Electrical Connections Department in London with the function of successfully delivering new electricity connection projects from LV to 66kV on behalf of a growing independent, national company. Role Description: * Manage and supervise internal and external staff; covering cable jointing, substation installation, excavation & reinstatement, cable installation, commissioning and energisation * Responsible for project safety, cost and quality * Prepare Work Instructions, Risk Assessments & Method Statements * Liaise with Local Authorities regarding street works * Procure and control project materials * Provide monthly project reports and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget * Liaise with DNO's & iDNO's to complete final connections * Liaise with and support both the client and the internal team to ensure smooth project delivery * To be fully aware of the market that the company are operating within Desirable Experience: * 5 years' experience in Project Management within the Electricity distribution industry * Capable in DNO, iDNO, local authority liaison * Previous DNO/iDNO authorisations an advantage * Experienced in managing internal and external labour for cable laying, cable jointing, switchgear installation and commissioning * Previous experience of power distribution networks * Qualification in Electrical Engineering e.g. C&G, ONC, HNC & Degree (equivalent Engineering qualifications may be considered) * Solid organisational ability and strong influencing skills * Ability to work effectively within a team, with good communication skills * Customer service orientated, and a desire to achieve the best results and contribute to the success of the company * Problem solver and solution provider Is this a role that you could be interested in?
