Project Manager - Networks

Project Manager with Network experience required for Government organization.

1 July start date. 6 month contract with extension options.

DUTIES:

- Provide comprehensive project and implementation plan to decommission a classified network including develop of a comprehensive infrastructure, data management and disposal plan.
- Identify resources, cost and timeframe to complete requirement for decommissioning of network.
- Plan, manage and coordination decommissioning of network.
- Technical lead managing a small team.
- Communication and engagement of stakeholders across the orgsanisation, other Government Departments and relevant vendors.
- Provide technical advice as required on the hardware and software configuration.
- Develop and implement changes to departmental systems strictly in accordance with departmental change control procedures.
- Ensure that the tasks and progressive action history are duly recorded and concluded to the client's satisfaction.
- Transfer skills, provide documentation and exchange information on all relevant aspects of the project/work undertaken.
- Participate fully in the project management process and endeavour to achieve client outcomes in the most effective way.
- Maintain data and office security and system integrity in accordance with Departmental Security Instructions.
- Undertake duties as required
