Project Manager - Network & Disaster Recovery (C8)

Finite's influential government client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced PROJECT MANAGER - NETWORKS AND DISASTER RECOVERY to join their team beginning 1 July 2013 for an initial period of 12 months.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- manage the end-to-end project management of the activities including scoping, analysing, documenting, communicating and managing the design, build and acceptance testing of disaster recovery capabilities;
- undertake business analysis activities including writing business and systems requirements specification and information architecture documents, as required;
- provide effective project management and work within the PRINCE2 based project management methodology used by the client;
- create a test plan for the Disaster Recovery as well as a testing calendar working in with, the client's Business Continuity Management Team, ISB Management and technical teams and 3rd Party IT Providers;
- produce a Simulated Test Plan for ISB Branch, this plan will detail the exact actions of the ISB DR Management Teams in the event of a declared disaster;
- provide liaison between business owners, business users and IT technical staff to ensure a successful system implementation; and
- Provide technical advice to other ISB staff and participate in skills transfer as required and mentor junior staff.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS A CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE OF AT LEAST NV1 (SECRET).
