Project Manager-Network

The RAN project manager manages the initial deployment/overlay of UMTS technology and LTE on a specific set of sites in a particular grouping defined by the program manager.

SKILLS:

- Extensive experience successfully managing large, complex, technical projects (5 years minimum)
- Proven ability to take complete ownership of a project - this includes the ability to reach out to various teams and find the answers to questions
- Proven ability to work independently and escalate appropriately
- Proven ability to Matrix manage - successfully manage across organizational boundaries
- Proven ability to successfully build positive and productive relationships across the project team
- Proven ability to work in and adapt to an ambiguous and changing environment
- Proven ability to consider and successfully manage multiple variables impacting a project
- Proven ability to think systemically/strategically - understand how their project fits into the larger program and identify how changes in one will affect the other
- Proven ability to deliver results on time
- Willingness to perform night work (ie maintenance window cut-overs)
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Desired but not Required - PMP certification.
