Project Manager (Multiple)

THE ROLE:

Our client is a large federal agency with an immediate requirement for several experienced Project Managers.

There are a range of ICT projects to work across within the risk analysis and monitoring branch and our client wishes to attract applicants with prior experience within a risk analysis environment.

As an experienced Project Manager, you will be working within a very busy environment and concurrently managing different project teams and outcomes.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Create project artefacts and documents which clearly outline what the project is delivering, including high level requirements, business benefits, budget, schedule, resources, contingency and reporting structure;
- Create the Project Plans, clearly identifying deliverables against dollar value, benefits and release based schedules;
- Develop and maintain the project schedule using multiple various applications;
- Develop and facilitate regular workshops and meetings with all relevant staff
- Manage and co-ordinate multiple project teams and their staff;
- Coach, mentor and motivate project team of substantive APS employees and contractors;
- Report progress, issues and project risks to all stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Extensive experience in project management;
- Strong analytical ability;
- Sound understanding or demonstrated ability to gain an understanding of the technical data structures of systems used to deliver analytics and risk rules;
- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a range of internal stakeholders
- Ability to bring a team together and resolve conflict between teams, and team members.

- Australian citizenship
- Baseline Clearance
