Project Manager - Mobile Packet Core

Planning
Develop & maintain a list of deliverables for Core Network and  Integration activities.
Develop and sign of Planning time lines and other related documentation

Execution
Develop & support integration of a Master Project schedule. Develop a project communications and reporting plan.
Identify key milestones and success parameters for continuous and management
Track and report on IT Integration, Core IOT and Transport integration.

Management
Anticipate & manage milestone gating risks and implement mitigation plans.
Identify key go-no-go decision points for gating milestone contingency planning.
Provide notification, escalation and communication for key "misses" and root cause analysis if necessary.

Handoff Points
Interface internally with management in accordance with planning, execution and acceptance needs.
Formalize validation, acceptance and sign off internally and with 3rd Parties
Insure IT Integration for NOC, BSS & Service Layers.

REQUIRED COMPETENCY:

- Candidate must have proven project management success in MPC Network Integration and/or Implementation Projects.
- Proven experience in obile packet core deployment. Hands on integration is a plus.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in a science, engineering or telecommunications discipline, and/or 5 to 8 years of experience in managing 2G/3G Core Networks
- Excellent technical understanding and project experience with network deployment and integration of wireless systems.
