Je functie: Context
In order to comply with MIFID II regulations, we launched a series of projects. The project manager will be responsible for the
'Recording' project, which is part of the MIFID II program

Function Description
Top priority for the project manager:
o Scope: understand and have the scope of the project validated at the initiation of the project. Put in place a change management process to
ensure the anchoring into the standing organisation.
o Time: planning to be built taking into account input of all contributors; appropriate progress tracking and reporting.
o Budget: compile the end-to-end project budget based on the input from all contributors; understand estimation techniques and models; challenge
contributors on estimates and budgetary evolution; support budget tracking and monitoring at all times
o Riskdefine mitigation actions; escalate the right risk & issues in a timely manner to
programme manager and sponsor
o Governance: set up and manage the project team involving key contributors, provide input and present the project in the Delivery
management meetings and provide input to the Programme Manager of MIFID II.
o Reporting: outline key messages on progress, next steps, attention points, scope, time, budget, risks, issues, focus on problems mentioning
possible solutions (with advantages / disadvantages of the solution and his preference) so that a decision could be taken
o Capacity Planning: Pro-actively identify and schedule project resources needs in strong collaboration with concerned team leaders,
contribute to capacity planning for teams providing resources across projects
Stakeholders management and project communication:
o Ensure good relations with all stakeholders of the project
Your job is making people work together in a professional & human way in a spirit of constructive partnership. Always use common sense. Avoid
conflict situations, look for solutions by making a rational analysis of the situation and discuss common proposals with your contributors.
