- NEW POSITION TO MANAGE A NUMBER OF FINANCE SYSTEMS PROJECTS FOR 2012/2013
- DELIVER NEW TECHNOLOGY AND CHANGE PROJECTS TO THE CAPITAL MARKETS BUSINESS ACROSS APAC
- BASED IN SYDNEY BUT WORKING WITH STAKEHOLDERS AND TECHNICAL TEAMS ACROSS THE REGION

This is a great opportunity to make your mark with an expanding Capital Markets firm across the APAC region. The focus is on the delivery of a number of new projects for Middle and Back Office Finance, Operations and Compliance and is a pivotal role to manage key relationships with APAC Finance and Change Management.

Key Stakeholders include senior IT and Finance and the role faces off to internal clients such as Operations, Risk and has project dependencies for the Front Office. The primary business is FICC (cash & Derivatives) with stakeholders based in Sydney and Hong Kong with other teams in Singapore, Tokyo and China.

The profile sought includes the following skills, experience and attributes:

- A STRONG BACKGROUND IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION WITH AT LEAST THE LAST 3 YEARS IN A PROJECT MANAGEMENT OR PROJECT LEADERSHIP POSITION
- KNOWLEDGE OF FINANCIAL MARKETS, INSTRUMENTS AND TRADE PROCESSES, IDEALLY FICC INCLUDING PRODUCT AND FINANCIAL CONTROL PROCESSES
- EXPERIENCE IN CAPITAL MARKETS BACK OFFICE
- EXPERIENCE OF MANAGING MIXED PROJECT TEAMS - INTERNAL, VENDOR AND OUTSOURCED/OFFSHORE
- A RELEVANT IT DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATIONS SUCH AS PMP ARE PREFERRED.
