Project Manager - Medical Device Development wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Master degree in Science/Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering education at university level
- 8+ years of experience in leading device development of parenteral delivery systems, eg drug/device combination products with main focus on devices for parenteral administration
- Expertise in managing packaging/device/combination product projects
- Solid knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA 21CFR 820, EU Medical Device Directive)
- Exposure to product design/design for manufacture as well as primary containers development
- General understanding of clinic studies processes/requirements and pharmaceutical development as well as human factors engineering and risk management
- Experience in opthalmic application device development
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Planning and leading project related technical activities
- Managing technical development activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders, projects teams and external development partners
- Monitoring, supporting and challenging technical development as well as test and verification work
- Supervising the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes
- Coordinating and monitoring technical documentation
- Compiling Design Control documentation remediation and contributing to a high quality Design History file
