Project Manager- Mechanical

A seasoned Project Manager is required with a strong Mechanical Services background, who will be based and working with the appointed architects helping to define user requirements, concept design and detailed design phases, prior to moving into construction phase.
This role requires a strong background in full life cycle project, delivering from concept to handover and requires experience of reporting in to Stakeholders.

Project Manager- Mechanical required for a multi-million pound Greenfield construction project with a world leading pharmaceutical company.
The project, which will comprise new office, R & D and laboratory facilities, is currently in early concept design stages with the appointed architects in London.
Working as part of a project team, who are ultimately responsible for agreeing the design prior to the construction phase, the Project Manager- mechanical will be responsible for developing URS with stakeholders and ensuring design compliance.
This is a full time, initial 12 month contract based in Central London.

Skills/Experience Required:
Project Management - from concept design stage through to handover, experienced in design/construction of chemical and micobiology laboratories.
Extensive mechanical services knowledge, preferably gained within the pharmaceutical sector
Knowledge of Chemistry and Microbiology laboratory builds
Level 2 containment Labs- involving HVAC, purified water, Waste systems.
