PROJECT MANAGER MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT (MDM/MDG/FRENCH OR DUTCH IS A PLUS)

Job description:

On client's site, the department Business Processes & Systems (BPS) is a Business organization which is responsible for the implementation of business processes and the interface management between operational Business stakeholders and IT providers.

BPS main stakeholders are the Business owners of the different CMO processes, the end users (Sales Agencies & Order Management Platforms), the Business Divisions as the plants within the Flat Europe scope.

This tender is issued by IT Europe on behalf of the BPS department.

The tender is issued to reinforce the BPS teams with a Project Manager to manage the Master Data Management project to support:

Global MDM architecture, MDM processes and governance model

New needs implementation from projects in various environments (SAP, Web, SalesForce, Legacy)

Redesign of MDM processes according to model decisions

Object of provision

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project:

Global coordination with other projects and IT architects

Manage the full project cycle from study to rollout

More specifically

Assess MDM processes with proposed solutions (ie SAP MDG) and challenge possible additional solutions/architecture.

Build and manage MDM templates with action plan

Propose a roadmap according to project priorities

The Project Manager is integrated in the BPS.

The main stakeholders are BPS project teams and IT Europe.

The main missions are :

In close coordination with IT architects, propose a global MDM architecture, MDM processes and governance model

Facilitate other projects implementations with respect to business deadlines

Be content-oriented: capture the business needs regarding MDM (content and process) to achieve implementation:

Build and manage templates with action plan: Master Data harmonisation, Documentations, Improve/Strengthen MDM processes

Implement MDM processes and governance according to the roadmap

Manage the project team by coordinating and supporting Functional Managers for MDM tools knowledge and model implementation

Support and train the business on the most efficient usage of new MDM tools

Mandatory Skills:

Processes and IT Systems minded .

Ability to understand Business needs

Team player, stakeholder-oriented, ability to understand and adapt to a complex and changing environment, ability to work with people at all levels of the organization

Proactive, creative, autonomous, problem-solving oriented, ability to work in a virtual team.

Experience

Significant experience with complex projects

Significant experience with MDM/MDG concepts and tools (SAP MDG knowledge is a plus)

Language proficiency

English: Advanced

French/Dutch as a plus

Additional Information:

Location near Gent (Belgium) + occasional trips in Europe

Start date October 2016

Duration: 6 months (to be revised according to project planning)
