Project Manager - Market RISK - Investment Banking - Sydney CBD

This role sits within an extensive team of IT professionals covering investment banking and markets. They are a multi-skilled group of Developers, Testers, Business Analysts Solution Architects, Program Managers and Project managers who utilize leading process excellence principles, and intense collaboration, to drive outstanding results across a portfolio of traded products and related systems. This role sits within a team dedicated to Financial Markets team that looks predominantly at the hedging of Market Risk across a range of complex markets products.

The successful applicant will deliver a high profile system overhaul to provide new pricing functionality for Commodities products both Swaps and Options, as well as providing new products workflow capabilities. The successful candidate will be a seasoned Project Manager with a finance background, with a track record of delivering technology focused projects in the global markets arena. Practical knowledge of Market risk and complex commodities products will be highly regarded.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- 5+ years as a PM in Investment Banking and Markets Technology
- Understanding of Risk related systems and platforms (inc the Greeks)
- Formal Project Manager Toolkit - PMP, PRINCE II, PMBOK
- Previous experience managing a medium sized team (>10)
- Proven governance in relation to financial control on projects
- Hands on experience using a Solution Delivery Lifecycle
- Outstanding presence and stakeholder management
- Full working rights for Australia
