A global IT services provider is currently seeking an accomplished Application Project Manager with extensive experience within the Oil & Gas sector to deliver complex business projects across a range of project streams.

Assuming full financial accountability and management responsibility, the successful candidate will head up a project team of client staff, external consultants and third party software providers to deliver full life cycle project management services from inception to closeout.

In this role you will be responsible for:

The design, build and delivery of application solutions within an integrated environment
The management of project scope, cost, schedule and contractual deliverables
Project planning, tracking, change control and risk management
Management of all project resources and the establishment of effective communication streams within the project team and the client.

In order to be successful in this role you will demonstrate a proven track record in the successful delivery of enterprise scale projects within allocated timescales and budgets into the Oil & Gas domain interfacing with a range of stakeholders including senior management professionals, and technology vendors.

A strong track record in at least one of the following areas will be mandatory:

Experience within a maintenance operations environment
Experience within sub-surface operations
Experience with large scale ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards)

Knowledge of the following will be highly advantageous:

Familiarity with Tieto Energy Components and OSIsoftPI
Knowledge of LIMS and PIMS
