MY DUTIES:

- Supporting PDS (product development strategy) achieving its strategic objectives by successfully managing and delivering on strategic enabling projects to transform and/or build capabilities in the business
- Leading the planning and implementation of global, medium- to long-term, high visibility strategic and agile projects within PDS, including the management of global cross-functional project teams and key project stakeholders
- Ensuring that effective and fit-for-purpose project management methodologies, process, and tools are in place and utilized – addressing project approach, plan, and timeline; change management; stakeholder engagement; risk and issue management; and benefits realization
- Managing engagement of key project stakeholders, as well as project team members
- Elivering projects using tools and practices aligned with our PDS Portfolio and/or program management methodologies
- Ensuring that solutions are delivered to PDS within the timeframes established, cost proposed (including resources from human capital) and to the quality of deliverables expected
- Assuming accountability for on-time, high-quality and within-budget delivery of all business-related project deliverables
- Acting with the expected professionalism and expertise as a representative of Portfolio & Project Management Group (PPMG) to others internally and externally

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experienced project manager in large strategic programs, managing multiple workstreams, implementing and deploying technology and process solutions globally, and designing and executing robust change management and communications activities
- Knowledge and experience in drug development, drug safety, and/or pharmacovigilance is desirable
- Profound experience in global project management
- Experience in global matrix environment, managing both internal and external stakeholders virtually
- Good understanding of change management principles
- Strong attention to details, strategic and problem-solver mindset
- BSc/MSc in Business, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2)
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience in pharma

PROJECT INFORMATION:

- “Simplifying Data Intake” project, which aims to design and implement an AE data intake framework that would establish and maintain a simplistic approach for the transfer of safety data from a reporter to the safety database. There are 5 work streams that make up this project and project management is needed to help ensure progress and delivery of the work streams, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and understand and manage connections with other projects in the PDS portfolio
