PROJECT MANAGER (LOGISTICS/WAREHOUSE/TRANSPORT) - BELGIUM
LANGUAGES: ENGLISH, DUTCH and FRENCH
FULLTIME JOB ASAP FOR 6 MONTHS. REALISTIC DURATION OF THE PROJECT IS ESTIMATED AT LEAST ONE YEAR WITH EXTENSIONS.
50/50 SITE LOCATION IN SOUTH & NORTH OF BRUSSELS
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- Customise system parameters
- Optimise workflows
- Custom work organization function of location and optimise work processes (social aspect)
- Training staff
- Adjust reporting (financial reporting, productivity tracking, KPI)
- Structure the consultation (lead core team, preparing sounding boards and steering committees)
- Challenge project team members and ensure reports are up to date reports
- Attend weekly meetings with all project team members
- Monitor the milestones and resource planning adjustments to achieve function of deadlines
- Monitor the scope of the project and intervene as needed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Senior Project Manager with 6+ years of project management experience
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Can act quickly, is effective and result-oriented
- Strong organisational skills and coordinating talent
- Experience with complex projects (over 1 million Euros or more than 1,000 man-days)
- Experience with warehousing and transport optimisation
- Previously a business (WAREHOUSING, LOGISTICS, TRANSPORT) than a technical IT focus
- Experience with organizational change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with experience in motivating and managing multidisciplinary teams
