Project Manager - Life & Pensions

EACG have an urgent requirement for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join a leading financial service organisation in Edinburgh.

Responsible for driving the delivery of a change project across a complex business structure. The role requires a focused business change leader, able challenge and direct others ensuring programme success.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience in leading and delivering projects within a Financial Services environment
- Experience in dealing with a teams based in multiple locations.
- A proven track record of creating and publishing agreed definitions for a project ensuring the buy-in of project sponsors and stakeholders.
- A track record of continually assessing the progress of a project and pre-empting problems by identifying change requirements.
- Experience in managing cost, timescale, quality and benefits realisation requirements with the agreement of project sponsors
- Experience in defining project governance including roles required within the project team and negotiating to ensure the appropriate positions are filled with appropriately qualified members.
- Strong understanding of the requirements for project standards and documentation including timelines, status/risk/issue reporting and communication, exception reporting and project sign off.
- Experience of financial management of Project budgets

Financial Services experience essential.
