Project Manager Level IV

PROJECT MANAGER LEVEL IV

Link Technologies is currently looking for a Project Manager Level IV for a 7-Month contract position in Carson City, NV. 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

The capability to perform the functions described below:

- PMI Certification;
- Experience in the development of a detailed project plan with timelines in MS Project;
- The ability to clearly communicate with project team and provide written updates to management;
- Experience in organizing meetings and documenting requirements;
- Experience in developing test cases for use in testing the developed product;
- Two plus (2+) years of consecutive and recent Project Management experience; and
- Experience with organizing testing efforts and documenting test outcomes.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED

PMI certification with five plus (5+) years of experience including a background as BPA in software development related projects.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The project will improve availability and uniformity while significantly reducing the amount of county staff time required to process each request. In addition to creating a single point of contact, the statewide system replaces multiple transactions with a one-stop process and provides voters and counties their documents in a uniform format. The system will track and provide user and site information for the current election.

SCOPE OF WORK

Consultant must perform all activities to the agreed upon project plan/schedule.

- Provide project management to ensure the successful completion of the projects assigned;
- Provide well documented and detailed project plans with timelines and resource allocation in MS Project;
- Conduct meetings with Sponsors, Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts documenting all requirements, questions and risks;
- Develop test scripts and conduct testing with agency staff;
- Document and resolve issues;
- Secure acceptance and approval of project deliverables from Sponsors and Stakeholders;
- Provide weekly status updates;
- Oversee project tasks to completion; and
- Track issues and bugs to resolution.

DELIVERABLES

Consultant must provide the following based on the agreed upon project plan/schedule.

- Assigned project completed according to the project and established timelines;
- Detailed and complete project documentation turned over to agency;
- Meetings should be conducted quickly and managed appropriately to minimize time spent;
- Documentation will be reviewed by the agency and signed where deliverables are due indicating agency acceptance;
- Develop test cases and conduct testing with agency staff to ensure deliverable acceptance and promotion to production;
- Track all issues and report anything that may impact the project timelines immediately;
- Deliver clear and concise written weekly project updates to the project team without fail to include, but not be limited to:
- Overall completion status of the project in terms of the approved project plan and schedule;
- Problems that were encountered and proposed/actual resolutions;
- Issues that need to be addressed;
- Accomplishments during the period; and
- Activities to be accomplished during the next reporting period.
