Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Project Manager for a year opportunity. This position is located in Ottawa, ONT

Requirement or Qualifications:

- A two year (as a minimum) post-secondary education program in computer science or an Information Technology (IT) related discipline, or
- One (1) year post secondary education in computer science/IT related discipline and four (4) years experience in an IT environment.
- 10 years experience in the Information Technology industry within the past 15 years.
- (5) years of demonstrated experience in the last ten (10) years in a Lead role related to an IT project in a provincially, nationally or globally distributed enterprise network, of at least 2, 000 seats.

Each role(s) must involve ALL of the following tasks:

- Developing project plans and work breakdown structures,
- Identify resource estimates for budget/planning
- Tracking expenditures to planned procurement,
- Identifying, monitor, track control and mitigating project risks,
- Coordinating tasks and activities of technical resources and multidisciplinary teams,
- 12 months experience in leading the Engineering and/or Quality Assurance testing of a true multi-site MS Exchange configuration of at least 2, 000 users, where each geographic dispersed site has MS Exchange infrastructure server(s) installed (ie NOT an Extranet configuration and EXCLUDING the failover site), within the past five (5) years.
- 5 years experience in a System Analyst and/or System Integrator and/or Systems Architect role in the Information Technology industry within the past ten (10) years.
- Development of work processes for ongoing operations.

Each role(s) must involve ALL of the following tasks:

- Developing and documenting requirements
- Developing and documenting functional specifications and/or design specifications.
- Must have valid SECRET clearance
