Project Manager Job

PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WALNUT CREEK, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Strong Project Management experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for coordination, status reporting, and stability of project oriented work efforts.
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices, company policies and procedure. Resolves a wide range of issues in both imaginative and practical ways.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Manages cross-functional teams of three to five (3 - 5) resources spread across multiple geographical locations through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring specific projects to completion both on time and within budget

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ability to apply project management best practices and methodology
- Ability to motivate project teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project, MS Access, Adobe Acrobat and NT.
- Effective written and oral communications skills
- Proven decision-making abilities
- High School diploma or equivalent certification or experience
- Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three to five (3-5) years project management principles and methodologies obtained by assisting/coordinating mid-scale projects
