Project Manager Job

SR. PROJECT MANAGER is needed for a 12 month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Walnut Creek, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Initiating projects (identifying risks, working with cross-functional teams, SMEs, strategies, etc.)
- Planning (project schedules, timelines, milestones, budgets, cost, teams, etc.)
- Responsible for coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts.
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- Manages the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
- Manages multiple projects and cross-functional teams of 10+ resources spread across multiple geographical locations through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring specific projects to completion both on time and within budget

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience eight to ten (8 - 10) years project management principles and methodologies obtained by assisting/coordinating mid-scale projects
- Ability to apply project management best practices and methodology
- Ability managing large Programs or Projects timeline one to two (1 - 2) years
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project, MS Access, Adobe Acrobat and NT.
- Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Eight to ten (8 - 10) years of Project Management Delivery

- Ability to work with face-pace, meet deadlines, budget/cost analysis, work with multiple projects, multiple small-to-medium teams
