What You'll Be Doing:
- The Specialist API Manufacturing Project and System will implement changes to API production and business processes as well as electronic systems.
- The Specialist Project and System API Manufacturing will provide manufacturing support for process development/improvement projects, capital projects, site-wide and global projects, which affect PS-API.
- The Specialist Project and System API Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and collect improvement ideas for production, business and quality processes as well as electronic systems
- Generate project plans and prepare business cases
- Generate CCRs
- Generate and revise risk assessments
- Participate in process development/improvement projects, capital projects, site-wide and global projects, which affect PS-API
- Lead interdisciplinary teams or as part of larger projects lead sub-teams
- Generate and report on timelines for initiatives/projects under own control
- Leads cross-functional teams and provides expert guidance to more junior Associates. Communicates effectively and promptly at all levels of the organization, supporting department objectives and management decisions.
- Able to lead teams and promote team approach.
- Works with own and other internal departments.
- Interacts frequently with PS-API biotechnicians, supervisors, managers and site senior management.
- Partners with members from other departments.
- Communicates two levels up.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Strong ability to plan and prioritize complex activities in-depth knowledge of the PS-API production and business processes and the supporting electronic systems
- Knowledge of the methods and tools of project management
- Good people skills, ability to communicate and partner well, to lead and to motivate
- Understanding of the quality systems
- Develop knowledge of the internal decision processes
