PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage a strategic philanthropic program comprising multiple components.
- Manage project development from initiation to closure
- Be accountable for project results along with project sponsor
- Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project plan outlining scope, goals, deliverable: required resources, budget, and timing
- Ensure project management tools are utilized effectively to maximize benefits
- Track timeline for meetings, approvals and deliverables
- Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and team members
- Coordinate with and manage vendors
- Track budget and provide periodic budget reports to sponsor
- Resolve issues and solve problems
- Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved
- Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsor
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism; successfully prioritize workload in accordance with business goals

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/BA
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management in the media, digital and/or events sector
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Collaborative Leadership-Demonstrated leadership managing people and teams, including the ability to influence with or without authority, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives, and bring teams to consensus/alignment
- CommunicationExcellent written and verbal communication skills and client-facing and internal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively up and down, at all levels of the organization, and teach and present complex and/or new ideas with clarity and simplicity.
- Planning/Organization-Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt, to synthesize large amount of information, and to deliver results despite a shifting environment
- Analytical Problem Solving -Demonstrated ability to define problem statements clearly and accurately and apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify data-driven root causes. Must be innovative and effective in solution development, risk mitigation, and execution.
