Project Manager,Java/J2EE Environment exp., Italian - Speaking

An exciting opportunity is available in Parma/Italy for a Project Manager with very good written and oral English language skills.

This position is with an IT company working at a client in the Public Sector.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

- Proven 5+ years of experience in Project Management;
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing in a web environment. Extensive knowledge of Java, J2EE, SOA, Web Services, composite applications, J2EE application Servers and related development tools and methods;
- Very strong experience with RUP and UML;
- Successfully managed and delivered at least 5 enterprise projects;
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working are mandatory;
- Experience as a Business Analyst is a Plus;
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management or related areas.

Tasks:

- Create project plans and monitor plan throughout the duration of the project;
- Ensure quality and timeliness of project deliverables within budget boundaries;
- Direct project teams, to interact efficiently with the client, to refer problems to the client and to resolve escalated issues;
- Prepare status reports;
- Apply correctly the quality processes and procedures.

The working language is English. Knowledge of Italian is a definite Plus.

This position is offered as a long-term freelance contract. The foreseen start date is in June.
