Project Manager- IT Security Platforms Job

PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's Financial client located in SAN DIEGO, CA

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- IT Securities project management experience
- Experience handling Projects and related teams are involved with IT Ops, Technology solutions related to security platforms and control frameworks (NIST, ISO or SAN's experience helpful).
- NIST preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Project Manager- Cyber Security Platforms will be responsible for projects involving Cyber Security platforms requiring coordination with other IT service departments and/or business units.
- Position will play a key role in the development life cycle including working with the engineers, Operations teams and other project managers ranging from inception to implementation.
- Project Manager- Cyber Security Platforms will act as lead Program Manager responsible for organizing the various work streams, participating in solution discussions, developing project plans and tracking dashboards, preparing documentation, and working with the delivery teams through completion.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Project Manager must have a solid background in his field. (Extended Experience)
- Preferably a Background in Cyber Security if NOT then must have IT knowledge of products and technology platforms. Doesn't need to know how to operate or work on them, but knowledge of them.
- Candidate will be managing IT (Security) projects
- Powerpoint Expert for Presentations, framing them, and present status updates to team.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) is a plus but not necessary
- Projects and related teams are involved with IT Ops, Technology solutions related to security platforms and control frameworks (NIST, ISO or SAN's experience helpful). NIST preferred.
- MUST be Detail Oriented and able to connect a sequence of efforts/tasks
- Be able to work under a lot of PRESSURE.
- Good collaboration nature, be able to delegate tasks with a leader mentality
