IT Security Project Manager

My client are a tier 1 investment banking institution who require an IT Project Manager to joing their global team to initiate, lead and deliver a number of exciting projects.

As a leading PM your main duties will be -
* Ensure appropriate engagement with stakeholders to understand and implement requirements, and to report on progress and escalate as needed to EST Security and Risk Manager
* Attend regular meetings to understand the overall remediation approach and requirements clarify and provide feedback / inputs as needed and report back on a regular basis to EST Security and Risk Manager.
* Review remediation solutions to ensure alignment with standards
* Management of project dependencies for strategic solution delivery, understanding its impact to overall delivery
* Monitor and track remedial actions closely to show progress on remedial actions, articulate risks and issues for management attention, and frame topics for decision making
* Create monthly reports on EST Security and Risk remediation projects and chart their delivery in a phased approach.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and manual work with automated workflow and organisational tooling.

To be considered for this excellent Business Analyst role you will need to have the following - Experience in IT Security Tooling / Operations and delivering Security remediation projects
* Preferred Security related qualification(s): CISSP, CISA, etc.
* Solid experience of IT security methodology and frameworks: ISO 27001, COBIT controls framework, etc
* Ability to articulate risk in a non-technical business impact language (essential)
* Proven experience in project management, and SDLC methodologies
* Proven experience in carrying out security assessments, risk assessments, and advise on solutions for remediation
* Strong understanding of IT risks
* Understanding of compliance requirements for Data Protection, Cryptography/ PKI, Regulatory Guidelines

The Project Manager must be logical, structured in their thinking and approach.
