Project Manager IT - Banking - Zürich

PROJECT MANAGER - We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager for our client within the financial industry.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for definition of implementation approach, scope definition, cost management, planning and quality assurance

Management of project risks, issues, change requests and dependencies to other projects/applications.

Identification and management of project communication with all project stakeholders

Monitoring of project progress against planning and taking measures to integrate impacts into plan

Adherence of standard methodology from project initiation through to project delivery

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION

University degree, ideally a technical background with additional business education or equivalent

Several years of project management experience with proven project delivery track record

Distinctive project planning, controlling and monitoring skills

Experience with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)

Strong content leader and problem solver, independent also in politically difficult situations

Excellent people and communication skills

Fluent written and spoken German/English skills

IPMA/PMP certification would be an asset

Experience in banking or finance industry
