Project Manager - Investment Systems

POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER

KEY SKILLS: INVESTMENT APPLICATIONS, IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE, VENDOR MANAGEMENT AND PMP

LOCATION: TORONTO, DOWNTOWN

TYPE: CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSIONS

As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), the INVESTMENT SYSTEM PM will be responsible for project management (including some hands on business analysis) of the implementation of an investment data management and performance measurement solution provided by Eagle Investment Systems.  The successful candidate will be a proactive, energetic self-starter who is committed to providing outstanding service and has direct investment system implementation experience.

REQUIREMENTS

- Senior Project Manager this can include a Business Analyst background prior
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certified, PMI Member   
- Familiar with PMBOK v4 , various PM Methodologies and tools as well as ITIL Processes
- Demonstrated project experience related to the design and/or implementation of investment management systems. Preference will be given to direct experience with Eagle Investment Systems including data management (PACE), performance measurement & attribution,  reporting, Security Reference Manager (SRM).  
- Tier-1 Vendor Management experience that includes a strong understanding of investment data, vendors (eg Bloomberg, PC Bond, MSCI), instruments, analytics and workflow    
- Experience writing Business Requirement Documents and QA Test Plans.   
- Familiar with SQL Querying and Crystal Reporting.              
- Experience with SAAS systems/hosted solutions.    
- Ability to liaison between Business and technical professionals to facilitate communications and deliver presentations this person is required to hold meetings with stakeholder (at all levels-  staff to SVP) to identify and gather their needs.      
- Ability to translate business and vendor needs to technology requirements              
- Ability to facilitate effective team interaction
