PROJECT MANAGER, INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT, BANKING (10 MONTH CONTRACT, ZURICH)
For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with strong knowledge of investment management and client advisory for a cross border initiative in Zurich with a strong potential for extension starting March/April 2016.
This is a 10 month contract with a good chance of multiple extensions through to 2017.
As the ideal candidate you will possess the following:
- Strong track record managing projects in the banking industry (10+ years experience)
- Deep experience working in asset management, private banking or Front Office functions
- Proven experience in the area of investment management, client or portfolio advisory, portfolio management and/or portfolio monitoring
- Experience working with business stakeholders and ability to understand IT languages
- Fluent in English (German advantageous)
- Open minded and delivery focused
- Strong communication skills
As the successful applicant you will work as part of a highly motivated project team within IS&P as a bridge between front support functions and our IT colleagues.
- Drive project stream in Portfolio Advisory & Monitoring as a Business Project Leader in close cooperation with internal IT Provider/IT Project Manager from design into implementation and rollout
- Responsible for delivering project stream on time, budget and in scope
- Work jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions
- Define business requirements together with business experts
- Support and challenge business ideas and enable changes
- Drive exchange with SMEs and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met
- Clarify open questions regarding functionalities, design, implementation approach
- Work independently under the guidance of the program manager
- Support requests from front- and Back Office functions related to Advisory Reporting Tool
