Our tier 1 Investment Banking client is looking to grow their Front Office business change delivery team in the hiring of a Senior Project Manager - Someone who has the ability to run elements of Programmes, but is equally happy with Business Analyst Duties as required. Candidates hired into this group previously have come from the traditional Management Consultancy houses, Strategy Houses and from Investment Banking competitors. The book of work is growing and 2015/2016 should be strong years of growth. All the projects reside or are driven out of the Front Office. Stakeholders will be at a senior level - desk heads, MD's, COO's - and the projects are truly global in nature. Of course there are the market known' regulatory and other change initiatives affecting all Investment Banking and Financial Services Companies, but there are also some very unique and attractive projects which my client believes are 1st to market', which should provide an excellent addition to the CV when you chose to leave the bank for another competitor.

Contract is being offered as each of the drivers is project based and therefore headcount need will to ramp up and reduce aligned to the book of work. As stated, they predict 2015 and 2016 is likely to only involve ramp up and therefore lengthy contracts are guaranteed'. Many of the roles are strategic in nature. You will always have that key man face time. The projects themselves will be divided in terms of delivery' or strategic'. Delivery means those strategic projects which have been signed off and need to be done. Strategic will mean scoping, planning, mapping out options, discussing and researching via external bodies etc. Candidate backgrounds in Investment Banking, Asset/Wealth Management or Big 4 Management Consulting would be considered.
