Our tier 1 financial services client is looking to the future and the formation of a designated team to be branded Business Model Delivery and Change'. The climate is ever shifting - often in terms of products but also regulations and other bodies which require both process and model model change.

This group will contain individuals which are not assigned to any one specific business area, but will be spread across all areas, front-to-Back Office, and as projects require. Contract is being offered as each of the drivers is project based and therefore headcount need will to ramp up and reduce aligned to the book of work. They predict 2015 and 2016 is likely to only involve ramp up and therefore lengthy contracts are guaranteed'. Another bonus in relation to this role/group is the stakeholder face-off - will be senior and varied. As the roles are strategic in nature, heads of business and heads of group, will almost certainly be the first point of contact, although obviously filtering down as the projects progress. You will always have that key man face time. The projects themselves will be divided in terms of delivery' or strategic'. Delivery means those strategic projects which have been signed off and need to be done. Strategic will mean scoping, planning, mapping out options, discussing and researching via external bodies etc. Candidate backgrounds in Investment Banking, Asset/Wealth Management or Big 4 Management Consulting would be considered.

SOME EXAMPLES OF RECENT OR FUTURE PROJECTS ARE;

- Cost Saving from scaling back non profitable areas of the bank - business change without reducing headcount
- Risk Controls and Processes - Front Office driven as a way of boosting profits by becoming more streamlined
- Various regulatory initiatives
- Cross boarder/multi-branch initiatives
