Project Manager III Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER III to join our client in Thousand Oaks, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This role will lead the development of a Drug Delivery medical device.
- Resource allocation and all phases of development life cycle planning (ie feasibility study, requirements, analysis, ROI, business plan, design, testing, and implementation).
- Tracking the progress of project(s), including milestones, budget, action items and issues.
- Developing project work break down structures using MS-Project following a project management life cycle methodology.
- Designing and implementing MS-Project templates and filters for project plan tracking and reporting.
- Analyzing master project plan(s) for conflicting tasks, timeline consolidation, and resource allocation.
- Designing and distributing templates to facilitate project tracking, change control, metrics, and issue decision management.
- Follow-up on project issues with project manager(s) to assist in the development of solutions.
- Creates appropriate documentation, including but not limited to: agendas, minutes, and capturing accomplishments Monitors timeliness and scheduled resources for projects, develops & reports on project metrics, project planninghas successfully developed a commercially viable medical device from concept through to commercialization
- Deep understanding of and experience with disciplined product development processes (phase/gate product development method)
- Experience developing products that are manufactured at high volumes using automated and semi-automated manufacturing processes
- Experience running large scale projects excellent understanding of program and project management processes and procedures, methodologies, best practices
- strong MS Project, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
- An understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration; strong analytical skills; product development best practices and change management.
- Successful experience working with contract development firms and contract manufacturers
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project; experienced in creating complex schedules with logical relationships between successor and predecessor tasks
- Experienced with planning and composing documents for FDA submissions
- Experienced in creating and maintaining a Design History File
- Experienced with managing programs with annual budgets exceeding $5M
- The ideal candidate will have experience that includes developing patient use devices
- Certification in Project Management is highly desired
