Project Manager- Healthcare

Our client is looking for Project Manager to add to their team. The right candidate will be able to successfully initiate, plan execute and control a project from pre-initiation to close, with little direction, on small projects with as equal ease on large corporate projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Insures that assigned projects are defined, developed, tested, documented, and implemented following quality standards and scheduled time lines.
- Works with functional managers to negotiate for limited resources for projects and communicates with those managers regarding resource availability, workload, and performance.
- Manages departmental staff, other functional resources, and consultants during all phases of project.
- Develops, communicates, and monitors project implementation schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Develops and implements corrective action plans as needed.
- Contributes to the development and administration of projects management methodology, policies, procedures, standards and tools
- Comfortable presenting Project status to senior executives internally

EXPERIENCE:

- Healthcare industry experience is a must.
- 5 years project management experience strongly preferred
- 5 years resource management experience in a matrixed environment with accountability for delivering results
- Working knowledge of project management concepts, tools and techniques.
- Proficient in tools and techniques of Project Management.
