ROLE: Project Manager

SKILLS: Project Manager - General Insurance - Retail Banking - Newport - £385 per day

OVERVIEW:

Our client, a major UK retail bank, requires the services of a Project Manager, who has previous e xperience within Retail Banking. The role purpose is to simplify the claims and services processes and systems within General Insurance.

CORE DUTIES OF THE ROLE:

- 5+ years in project management preferably in financial services.
- Must be skilled in the study to implementation phases of a project.
- Able to work with all levels of stakeholder including Director/Executive.
- Confident and experienced in running a range of project meetings.
- Experience of working closely with IT project managers.
- Previous experience working in a team of project managers as well as leading their own workstreams.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

It would be desirable if the Project Manager had worked within Retail Banking previously and experience with GI companies would be useful.

There are 2 roles available based in Newport. A limited amount of travelling on occasion may be required to other sites - particularly Leeds and the Midlands.
