ROLE: PROJECT MANAGER, FUND ONBOARDING

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Duration: 6 months

Rate: DOE

ROLE PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to help coordinate and manage the on-boarding of clients onto the new strategic architecture, either in the form of new client mandates or existing clients moving off Legacy  architecture. Based in UK, the role will focus mainly on European client and potentially clients globally.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The primary responsibility of this is role it to assist in the on-boarding of new clients:

- Reviewing requirements and identifying and reporting gaps
- Liaising with various teams to ensure that the proposed solution is in-line with the strategic architecture eg Architecture, IT Operations
- Planning of implementation
- Completion of work requests for implementation
- Coordination across various teams to ensure end-to-end implementation
- Liasing with support teams to ensure that are fully informed on the solution ahead of go-live

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Exposure to funds and Middle Office IT functions such as fund/investment accounting, cash forecasting etc.
- Requirements analysis and the ability to identify gaps
- Demonstrated ability to write specifications
- Understanding of file delivery mechanisms
- Experience of planning, risk and issue management and reporting
- Experience in planning and managing testing
