PROJECT MANAGER FUND ACCOUNTING
Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager with a strong banking background, preferably within Fund Accounting or Asset Management.
ROLE:
- Responsible for the project management of Fund Accounting projects (delivery in budget, in time, in quality, in alignment with architectural/regulatory guidelines)
- Solution consulting and delivery for the Fund Administration business covering daily NAV (Net asset value) publication, factsheet production, fee calculation, and transaction reporting to internal and external parties (eg Swiss National Bank)
- Coordination of IT project related activities in the locations Switzerland and Luxembourg
- Management of high complex platform and audit related projects with team members in two countries
- Main contact for the internal business client and senior management for project related topics
EDUCATION
- Higher education with background in the financial and/or IT area
- Optional but a big plus: Certificate in Project Management (ie PMI Certified Project Manager (PMP) or other)
EXPERIENCE:
- Successful track record (5 years +) in delivering medium and large scale projects (1 Mio CHF +)
- Knowledge and work experience required in modern integrated banking sector with focus on Corporate and Institutional Client Banking
- Extensive experience in project processes and software development techniques (Waterfall, MLCM, Scrum, etc.)
- Optional but a big plus: Fund Accounting or Asset Management know-how
PERSONAL SKILLS:
- Ability in quickly taking over responsibilities
- First-class analytical, design and problem solving skills, dedicated to maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent communicator and fast learner with ability to adapt to workload and work environment
- Proven leadership skills, very good motivator of teams to achieve objectives in a multi-cultural environments (LUX, ZH)
LANGUAGES:
- Fluent in English and German, French is a plus
