Project Manager / Functional Manager (Gent (Zelzate))

The department "Business Processes & Systems (BPS) of our client, is looking for a Functional Manager.

The main missions of our Department are:
- Managing Information Systems (Writing Business specifications, co-ordinating projects, ensuring roll out, etc.) based on the requirements formulated by the Business.
- Driving the evolution of existing Information Systems, again based on the Business requirements but also in concordance with the IS/IT Strategic Plan and IT Standards.
- Providing the necessary support to the users of our Information Systems through our "Service Desk" Organization.

We are a business organization that manages the link between Operational Business actors and IT providers.

Missions and responsibilities:

Managing 'Allocation & Due Date Quoting' processes.
Writing business specifications, co-ordinating projects, testing, ensuring roll out and support maintenance based on the requirements formulated by the business and the standard functionalities offered by SAP.

The new Functional Manager will be integrated in the Spot / Planning Domain of BPS where we manage several Processes (Order Entry, Allocation, Due Date Quoting).

Our main contacts are other BPS Functional Managers, different business teams, end users (Volume Allocation Managers), Business Divisions and mills.

The new functional manager will be integrated in a BPS Domain (5-10 persons) as of end of May 2015 for a long term mission.
He or she will be located in Belgium in Gent (Zelzate).
Je profiel: Your profile

We need a person with functional knowledge of SAP SD order entry processes and SAP APO.
Knowledge of SAP BW (BEx Analyzer) is an advantage.

We are nNOT looking for a SAP-technical consultant that specializes in customizing, debugging, development, etc.

Significant experience (2-3 Years ) in Supply Chain and Planning in the industrial sector is mandatory.
Experience in project management in an international Company with multiple sites is Mandatory.
Languages: English, French & Dutch
We are looking for someone who is "process and system minded". Team spirit, user orientation and the ability to adapt to and understand a complex environment are the main competences needed to fulfil the function requirements.

Occasional travels during mission (mainly France, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Spain, Italy, etc) are part of the job.
