Randstad Professionals in Zurich is actively looking for a Project Manager to join their international pharmaceutical client near to Basel region, Switzerland in Kaiseraugst.

THE PROJECT

The company is launching the project for the global Windows 10 migration The following items will be upgraded:
- Windows 7 ­- Windows 10
- Internet Explorer 10 ­- Internet Explorer 11
- Microsoft Office 2010 ­- Microsoft Office 2016

The company globally needs to adapt to these changes in all sites and across all DIA functions and is seeking support fulfil the global Windows 10+ project demands.
The job holder will report to the Head of End User Services of the Company. You will also have a dotted line report to the Windows 10+ Global Project Manager and closely collaborate with the DIA business stakeholders, application owners etc.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive adaptation of Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 11 within the company
- Set up project organization on Diagnostics side in accordance with Windows 10+ project
- RAID mgmt. ­ Tracking and reporting of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decisions
- Act as escalation point for application readiness testing and liaise with Diagnostics Business Application Owners
- Work with DIA sites and business to align on rollout needs and transport requirements to Windows 10+ project
- Track project progress on DIA side and making progress visible to DIA leadership
- Obtain buy in from all affected stakeholders for the changes brought by the Windows 10+ project

QUALIFICATIONS

- University Degree or equivalent education ( Engineering, Management or Computer science preferred)
- Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strong plus
- 7+ Experience in IT project management
- Experience in Client rollout projects
- CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
- Experience in detailed planning and tracking of projects with multiple project stakeholders
- Leadership of external/internal staff
- Experience in virtual, international team settings
- Cross functional communication and negotiation skills? proven track record of handling escalations on all levels IT internally as well as between business and IT
- Experience in handling difficult situations with conflicting priorities and interests
- Business fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
- Understanding of OCM and Business Analysis is a big plus
- German is a plus
- PM certification is a nice to have
