Project Manager for Multinational Client in Stockholm/Sweden

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROJECT MANAGER TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN STOCKHOLM/SWEDEN.

Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultant

- Manage the development and implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
- Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organisation.
- Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables.
- Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
- Estimate timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
- Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports.
- Monitor timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria.
- Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors.
- Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.

In the interest of the client, and as agreed with the contractor, the consultant might be reassigned to other projects as necessary within the same field of work.

COMPETENCES AND SKILLS

- University degree with minimum 4 years experience in IT or non-university degree with minimum 6 years experience in IT
- Proven experience in managing ICT projects
- Proven experience with quality procedures
- Experience in development projects and maintenance projects
- Experience in data migration;
- Experience with ERP applications advantageous

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Project management
- Experience in Business Analysis
- Knowledge and experience in writing technical documentation.
- Usage of project management tools. Willing to use MS Project
- Experience working with SharePoint Designer 2010. Experience in developing customized solutions for MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) with Visual Studio 2010
- Advanced programming experience in C#, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services, MS SQL Server and Microsoft .NET platform 3.5.
- Experience using Windows workflow framework.
- Experience in creating deployment fully automated packages for SharePoint Server 2010. Knowledge of application testing tools.
- Good technical knowledge on the projects aspects
- Good reporting methods
- Ability to give presentations
- Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
- Leadership capability
- Very good command of English; oral and written
- be able to understand and analyse technical requirements
