Project Manager - Financial Services/Banking

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing processes and reporting within the Portfolio Delivery Office (Program Management Office).
- Participation in technology or non-technology efforts that have moderate to high complexity.
- Project planning and design, implementing strategic and tactical initiatives, and ensuring, through formal project management practices, that the final product meets the original project requirements.
- Develop detailed plans and schedules with project tracking and oversight.
- Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple financial, technical, or business disciplines.
- Consistently uses/applies appropriate PM standards, principle theories, concepts and techniques.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects/initiatives
- Provides solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

SKILLS

3+ years Project Management experience Required. 3+ years Project/Program Office Management experience Required. Financial Services/Banking Experience Required. Thorough understanding of the complete business and Systems project life cycle required. Clarity and SharePoint experience required. Excellent MS Office product skills including: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project. Strong written and verbal communications skills required. Strong relationship building skills are a must. Knowledge of business processes required. PMP certification preferred. Must have a working knowledge of the IT development life cycle. Exposure to Agile methodology preferred. Ability to quickly grasp business intent of development efforts.
