Our client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is in the process of implementing a combined solution for the production of financial, regulatory and risk reporting. The Program is focused around the creation of a single FINANCIAL DATA WAREHOUSE which combines all of the financial and reference data required to satisfy the reporting and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Project Direction/Management
- Direct and manage the projects from inception through implementation
- Define the scope, goals and deliverables of the project to align to overall business goals
- Effectively engage project team, technology team(s) and Senior Management, as appropriate
- Collaboration/Communication
- Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to program managers, sponsors, team members and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion
- Develop and present deliverables (business requirements, design, etc.) to project team, technology, business partners and Senior Management
- Liaise extensively across  teams, impacted areas and technology
- Understand the business processes in order to improve the current process
- Deliverables/Milestones
- Establish project timelines and milestones

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years experience with project management experience, experience in financial services preferred, including leading projects
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.
- Excellent understanding of the front to back trade life cycle gained from working previously in/alongside Front Office.
- In depth product knowledge which must include at least one of the following: bonds; Securities; OTC derivatives (Interest  Credit).
- Strong understanding of reference data for products - counterparty data or instrument data.
- Extensive Investment Banking experience with an accounting background
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Ability to manage multiple, virtual, global work streams
- Able to communicate with all staff levels within and outside of own area
