Project Manager, Finance Job

PROJECT MANAGER, Finance needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Financial Analysis experience
- Experience in Global Finance, Forecasting, creating budgets for Clinical Trials
- Extensive knowledge of Clinical studies/trials activities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop budgets and forecasts for clinical trial study expenses
- Set up and maintain financial models for cost recognition of ongoing clinical trials
- Prepare and report monthly clinical study accruals to the Finance department including variance commentary
- Provide full financial support to the Clinical Operations team
- Participate in internal project team and study team meetings to provide financial guidance
- Work independently, be able to adhere to deadlines and be adaptable to a changing environment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant scientific discipline and Finance related experience
- 2 - 4 years Clinical Operations or Pharma Industry experience
- Extensive knowledge of the conduct of Oncology clinical studies from site initiation to study close out
- Knowledge of Medical Affairs activities other than sponsored Clinical Trials (eg IIS, CME, Publishing)
- Ability to apply understanding of Medical Affairs activities to financial forecasting on a macro and micro level
- Ability to work with details while maintaining a high level view of finance goals and objectives
- Knowledge of GAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Microsoft Excel advanced user (with ability to write simple macros a plus)
