Project Manager - Facilities/DE&S

This job is within a Support Programmes Management Office providing support to the Operational Infrastructure Programme Manager. Several projects that have previously been on-hold are in the process of being reactivated and reestablishment of Project Management processes is required, including:

SCHEDULES:

*Create specific detailed resourced schedule for CWSS to Initial Gate (IG) decision point (until CWSS PM arrives), liaising with task owners to ensure ownership and an accurate view of project timelines.

*Work with wider PgMO team on detailed generic plan to IG decision point.

*Work with wider PgMO team to create high level generic plan for concept and assessment phases

RISK:

*For the Combat Water Supply Service (CWSS) project, reinstate defined risk management process, including holding initial risk workshops to identify new risks and update existing risks (until arrival of CWSS Project Manager (PM).

*Translate existing spreadsheet based risk registers for several projects to a defined input format for Active Risk Manager and quality check end product for accuracy.

*Work with wider team to update shared Risk and Opportunity Management Plan to cover these projects.

Until arrival of PM:

*Produce and manage Assurance Plan, support Project Meetings, maintain Project Record, manage Master Data Assumptions List, update Through Life Management Plan, re-establish document control, establish project reporting structure.

*Including a period of overlap with CWSS PM to facilitate handover and work up.
